Time to let loose, right? Wrong!
If letting loose means getting out for a movie or dancing or a show then GO CRAZY! I can't wait for my own kid free - gab fest with my gals ;)
But if letting loose means a tray full of nachos, then think twice. Most of our weekend food consists of fat laden, artery busting, high sodium & cholesterol foods. Instead of blowing your whole weekly calorie budget in one night, find other ways to let loose or unwind from a hectic week.
If you are planning a dinner out why not try the healthier choices or half your meal to help stay in track. If you know where you are going beforehand, check the website for the menu and make your healthy choices beforehand, this way you are not tempted by the fancy menus. And just because an item says salad, it doesn't mean it's healthy or low in calories and fat! Ask for half the meat on your salads and ask for olive oil and vinegar on the side so you can control what goes in your salad. :)
