On the menu today was an upper body circuit. I picked two back, one chest, two shoulder, one bicep and tricep move and went to town. In between each set I added 5 minutes of intense cardio and called it a workout. The trick to my workout this morning after my 10 minute warm up was to ensure I picked compound movements, that's exercises that hit more than one body part. For example when doing a chest press you hit chest, top of shoulders, triceps, core, not just chest. Also I decided
to lower my weights, increase my reps and thus produced a very nice burn, and ultimately, sweat for me today.
Wish me luck with the diet overhaul as that'll probably be the biggest challenge today.
