At this point not only is you blood pressure soaring but so are your cortisol levels. Ah lovely cortisol! The hormone that will sabotage even the most diligent healthy eater. What is cortisol? It's known as the stress hormone and while important in the bigger picture, too much of it will have your face in the cookie jar inhaling every last crumb.
So how do we regulate this hormone? De-stress!!! How you ask? How about a nice session of good old fashion sweat-induced body pumping. Along with the never ending benefits moving your tush will do for you, including regulating your heart rate, lowering your blood pressure, taking off excess cellulite, better sleep patterns, regulating body temperature, it also helps in regulating your hormones including cortisol. Regulating your cortisol will help with all your temptations and gorging.
Another piece of advice I am going to leave you with is to UNPLUG! Unplugging from your phone, mp3 player, computer, tablet, DS, Wii, (shall I go on?) will help you to get down to basics and give gratitude to the world around you.
