The next few days will prove to be challenging, diet wise. As we head up north to have a few fun filled relaxing days to celebrate the opening of summer, all eating plans will be thrown out the window. Or will they? Obviously I will not have a piece of paper in my pocket or have my iPhone on constant check, as this is supposed to be a fun filled few days out to enjoy my family, but I will take everything I have learned over the years and re-learned over the past few weeks and keep on track that way.
I have packed all snacks for my family with all easy ingredients to help me keep on track the next few days.
The items I have packed include; skim milk, greek yogurt, high fibre cereal, soya nuts, raisins, baby carrots, hummus, pop chips (an easy healthy chip alternative), pita bread, flax bread, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, bananas, cheese strings, eggs and turkey bacon. See easy peasy so that we can pack and go with no fuss.
I will not be doing any formal exercise either as after telling my husband about 10 times not to forget my weights, he ..... forgot my weights! My plan is to do some body weight exercises with a lot of walking. Mostly though I just want to enjoy my family and be there with them as we embark the start of what is going to be a fantastic summer.
Until Next Time,
HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!
