That is a lot of black, slender fitting, 7 day a week and 3 spare (just in case) track pants. Obviously they are not your brother's 80's Bi-Way track pants, with the elastic bottoms (although i hear they are coming back in a rather pricey way) but they are track pants all the same. Stretchy feeling, comfy cozy, ripped bottoms, every day wearing track pants. I own such track pants for exactly the reason I described. They are stretchy and comfy, and cozy and stretchy and quick to pull up and oh did I mention stretchy. I wear them to drop the kids off at school, I wear them to pick them up, I wear them to the grocery store and the appliance store, I wear them to the work and I even wear them to church. They are comfy and cozy and stretchy and black.
But do you want to know a secret? I am sick of them. I am tired of having to slip them on because my jeans don't button. I am tired of hoisting them over my thighs because my sweet looking pants barely go over my calves. Don’t get me wrong, I have awesome bulges in all the right places. My thighs are hard to the touch, my calves are solid and I dare anyone to lay a finger on my rock solid biceps. My kicks are high, my punches swift but you can't see any of it. It's all hidden in fluff. Soft, white, marshmellowy fluffy. So my solution is to start a revolution. "What are you talking about
Carla? What is a revolution?”
I know that if I am feeling this way, a bit too fluffy to go into the summer, that there are at least 2 or 3 of you that are
feeling the same way. I would use a different word, but really what else would describe that feeling. How else would you describe the stuffed, over stretched, inflexible, tight feeling? Fluffy!
How will this revolution start? Well right now, it will start with me! Because what good is a revolution, if I (the bearer of these words) can't head my own revolution. There will be more information to come in the following days and weeks, but just keep following and you will see what I will be starting, what I am wanting to create and what possibilities I want to share with you.
